Greetings....

So how do you greet a person who was once a Minister but is no longer a Minister but who could be a Minister again?
Honorable Minister?
Honorable Ex-Minister?
Mrs?

How do you answer her question ' So how are things at the Ministry?'
If only you were there!
Better?
Same as before?

Or do you just slink away hoping she won't see you pretending not to see her? No greetings, no updates, no awkward questions or answers on either side.

Thoughts that flashed through my mind when I saw a Minister I previously reported to and just before I went to greet her, ' Oh hi Mrs...'

Ex-Ministers aside, as usual with any event vendors were well represented, but new for me this time were the male adowa dancer and the guy that bestwoed adulations.

Of course missed half of the adulations as they were in the local language but from what I understand, he wished my friend's life would be as beasutiful as the back of his neck!
Go figure

Geez, that is a tough situation.
I think Ghanaians will for a sense of normalcy still call her 'Honourable' without the 'Minister'.
Just say something to keep her happy without sounding awkward yourself.

I agree with Posekyere. As for beauty like the back of the neck, that is the most original line I have heard a such a loooooooooooooooooooong time. Funny.

Hi Posekyere, I resorted to calling her Minister, though must confess I stumbled a bit. I think she understood though and was most gracious about it ;-)

Nana, you can do a poll to see what is the most original line ever - I agree this was a very original one. The other that I had heard in Jamaica was the line a guy gave a girl when she was about to enter a store, he said ' hey haven't you seen the sign? It says no food or drink allowed'

Oh no! He just said it standing right there? And I bet it was not even rehearsed or anything like that! Damn!

Knowing these guys Nana Yaw they actually practice and then just wait for the right moment to 'unleash' the lyrics.
